DOMINANCE, LESSER EVIL AND BIGGER EVIL

Individual dominance [or even any other dominance that exists in life], is never for a lifetime. Its very clear to all that all the powerful kingdoms that have ruled the world at one epoch at a time or the other, be it Egypt, Greece, Babylonia, Persia and The Roman Empire never held on to it till today, the most powerful nation in the world today will also not hold on to it till eternity. In any other ramifications of life too, be it sports, entertainment or business, there has never been a time any single powerful entity hold on to dominance consistently for a long time because "life is full of ups and down", though a cliche but  entirely true.  One of the most successful football clubs in the world, Liverpool are still waiting since the early 90s to win their first ever Premier League title; Real Madrid has the highest number of Champions League trophy but had to go without one between 2003 and 2013; Anthony Joshua had all the belts apart from one but got knocked out by another boxer everyone sees as fat; Jeff Bezos would not be the richest man in the world till eternity and Michael Jackson even stopped dominating before he died.
Another notable thing to get to mind is that when a certain evil occur at times, it does to avert a bigger evil. The Roman Empire collapsed [for several reasons all centered on greed] in order to avert indiscipline and moral decadence - a negative attribute i see as dangerous than a virus; Persia was defeated by Alexandra The Great in order to stop the heavy taxation and harsh economic condition that ravaged the land due to the investment in wars made by Xerxes I all because he wanted to bring Greece down; God destroyed Nebuchadnezzar of Babylonia because he was going to become dangerous than The Game of Thrones equivalence of the mad king.
So get up today! Get it in mind that dominance does not last forever!  Even if it seems to last forever no one can ever be consistent with it! And when you suffer a setback, or you feel an evil befall you, bear it in mind it happens to avert a bigger evil! You lose 850 today you might be worth 850 Billion in the next 20 years; you make mistakes today it might have happened to avert a bigger and costly mistake; you miss out on a multi million deal today multi trillion deal might come banging on your door tomorrow. And on an endnote, If anyone let you down, bear it in mind another avenue has been provided for another person to bring you up!

The Yoruba people are the inhabitants of the Southwestern geo-political zone of Nigeria.
