I SALUTE NIGERIANS (2016)

I salute the resilience of the Nigerian populace that are thriving in a nation with double-digit inflation. I salute the perseverance of the AAUA lecturers and several other Nigerian civil servants being owed over six months salaries and arrears. I admire the tenacity of the Nigerian artisans staying out there under the sun everyday to feed their immediate families and even make sure their wards get educated. I salute the doggedness of the unemployed and under-employed youths/graduates going up and down to make sure the future is assured. I salute the prayerfulness of the Mohammed-like and Christ-like Nigerian Muslims and Christians. Venezuela—a country not as corrupt as Nigeria have collapsed recently because the government failed to safe during the oil-boom days; Nigeria—a country so corrupt to the extent that governors ganged up not to pay workers salaries because they want the country's external reserve shared—did not safe during the oil-boom days too but is still a litt
