I SALUTE NIGERIANS (2016)

I salute the resilience of the Nigerian populace that are thriving in a nation with double-digit inflation.
I salute the perseverance of the AAUA lecturers and several other Nigerian civil servants being owed over six months salaries and arrears.
I admire the tenacity of the Nigerian artisans staying out there under the sun everyday to feed their immediate families and even make sure their wards get educated.
I salute the doggedness of the unemployed and under-employed youths/graduates going up and down to make sure the future is assured.
I salute the prayerfulness of the Mohammed-like and Christ-like Nigerian Muslims and Christians.

Venezuela—a country not as corrupt as Nigeria have collapsed recently because the government failed to safe during the oil-boom days; Nigeria—a country so corrupt to the extent that governors ganged up not to pay workers salaries because they want the country's external reserve shared—did not safe during the oil-boom days too but is still a little bit far from collapse today not because the governments have excellent plans resuscitative to the economy but because the citizens have proven to be persevering, dogged, rugged,  resilient, prayerful and long-suffering.

I salute the faith of every Nigerian who still believes there is hope for this country.
I salute the mindset of the Nigerians who believe all those who dowsed this country into the underground water of peril she is in today need to be brought to justice.
On a endnote to the salutes, i stand like an infantry soldier receiving instructions from a field marshal for every member of the Defense Headquarters making sure Islamic terrorism is gotten rid of in the northern part of the country.

All the happenings in this nation remind me of Isaiah the Prophet of Hope. Isaiah's epoch was a time when all hope of the people of Israel and Judah were being dashed just like Nigeria's today but the hope of the people was replenished by the prophecies of Isaiah.
Fellow Nigerians, let us see all the faithful religious leaders hoping, prophesying goodies and praying for the betterment of this nation as "our Isaiahs"
Let us abolish all the bad parts of us that may plunge this country to collapse. It is my work, prayer and hope that this country becomes a better place for everyone to live.

I look forward to a Nigerian with government authorities focusing on absolute welfarism of the entire populace.
I look forward to a Nigeria that will become a member of the G-8.
I look forward to a Nigeria whose youths will excel in every ramification of life—academics, governance, sports and the likes.
I look forward to a Nigeria whose "carrying-capacity" becomes high beyond imagination.

It is my prayer and hope that things get better for Nigeria.
