FAREWELL EDEN HAZARD!

To me, as a Chelsea fan, the worst football moment of the 2018/19 season was not the breakdown of Sarri ball, the 6-0 and 4-0 losses to Manchester City and Bournemouth, it was definitely not the departure of TBO Courtois, it was Zinedine Zidane rejoining Real Madrid. I already knew the most talented player I have ever seen played for Chelsea, Eden Hazard was Madrid-bound, not because it is the player’s dream but because Zizou is his idol and once said he would bring him to Real Madrid with his eyes closed!
After an illustrious time with his boyhood club, LOSC Lille, Eden Hazard joined Chelsea in the summer of 2012. His influence on the pitch was immediately felt as the little Belgian magician required no time to adapt to the pacey, physical and kick-follow style of football in England. Even, the least objective of spectators will never dispute the fact that Eden Hazard is the number one dribbler of his time in England, one of the fastest and the most productive creator of chances.
Who is the Chelsea fan who wanted Hazard gone especially at a time the club is facing a two-window transfer ban? We all know the answer!  Not even the uninformed and irregular ones who might not know about his achievements and excellent stats. For me, smiling has been very hard any time it comes to my mind Hazard is not a Chelsea player anymore. It is definitely not a transfer Chelsea fans want!
Thank you Eden Hazard! The joy that comes to my mind whenever I see the stats every year remains unforgettable! I will never forget the two assists that made Frank Lampard level and topple Bobby Tambling in 2013! Never will I forget the screamer against Sparta Prague the same year! The solo effort against Sunderland during Mourinho’s second spell would always be in my mind! The 2014/15 season is definitely unforgettable! Your comeback to the limelight after the woeful 2015/16 season remains in my heart! The serial tearing apart of defense set up is unforgettable! The accolades and awards would always remain in the minds of Chelsea fans including me! The productive 110 goals are unforgettable! Unforgettable is the perfect word to describe the six trophies! And the brilliant sole efforts of 2018/19 season remains in my heart!
Farewell Eden Hazard! Enjoy your time in Madrid with Natacha, Yanis, Leo and Sammy! Goodluck!
