A lot of people today believe all those who do go to church to attend mass/services are Christians. Taking a deep look at the phenomenon, almost all those who do go to church to observe services are not Christians! Majority fall to the category i call 'Church-goers'; others, 'God-fearers' and a few, Christians.

Talking about the Church-goers, they are those who attend church services for the sake of attending. They do not really care to ask for God's forgiveness whenever they commit sins, they never proselytise, a lot of them go to church to show off what they got, they do not make bible their watchword, a lot of them never pray; suprisingly, some of them might be Polytheists! They say "Christianity" when you ask for their religion but are never Christians!

As far as the God-fearers are concerened, they are the ones who do not proselytise—preach the Gospel and gain souls—but obey the first commandment and every other commandments. They are never polytheists but monotheists; they are always remorseful any time they commit sins [and the remorse is a pre-requisite to forgiveness though some forgiveness are subjected to pennance]; they attend church services and take part in the worship of one God. They form a link between Christians and Church-goers.

On the [real] Christians, according to The Oxford Advanced Learners Dictionary, a Christian is a person who believes in the teaching of Jesus-Christ or has been baptised in a Christian Church. But the word Christian is more than Just that definition!
Firstly, Christians are the ones that are ready to love because Jesus-Christ clearly stated that love is the first commandment. Straight-from-the-shoulder, 'love' is the 'pre-requisite' to obeying all other commandments. Persons who love never kill, steal, commit adultery, fight unnecessarily, keep malice; they are obedient, respectful and always keep the sabbath holy.
Secondly, Christians are always ready any time proselytisation is to be carried out—they are always ready to preach the Gospel and gain souls.
Furthermore, Christians do make The Bible their 'authoritative book' because The Bible contains almost everything all men need to be successful in life and make heaven; it also contain all one needs to get close to God. The Bible even contains prophecies that are all coming to pass today and is [one of] the most correct book(s) in the world.
In conclusion, Christians are tolerant and merciful towards the poor, they do not discriminate either racially or tribally; they make prayer [to the one God] their watchword;  they are more than just God-fearers and Church-goers in one package; they are the light of the world.

The Yoruba people are the inhabitants of the Southwestern geo-political zone of Nigeria.
