DEBATE: ELEVEN REASONS WHY MUSLIMS SHOULD BECOME CHRISTIANS

I am not a preacher nor a religion fanatic and i don't have a personal problem with Islam but i have studied Christians, Muslims, Christianity and Islam satisfactorily so i decided to come up with this piece.
Read carefully without bias and make comments if you want to.

1. It is certain that Jesus is higher in the hierarchy of the prophets (Muslims don't believe he is the son of God so lets refer to him as prophet in that context) than Mohammed (SAW)

2. Countries like Turkey and Saudi which are dominated by Muslims rejected the refugees (Which are Muslims too) from Syria and Iraq but countries like Germany and The UK (Which are dominated by Christians) did not hesitate to receive them all.

3. If you read the entire Qoran over and over again, you will find the name of Mohammed (SAW) in 4 places and the name of Jesus (Isa Mahsid) in 25 places. Why such preference?

4. In the Qoran, you won't find the name of any woman but Mariam (Mary) the mother of Jesus Christ. Chapter three is titled "The family of Mariam" and another, "Mariam"

5. Qoran gives the following names for Jesus Christ: Word of God, Spirit of God and Isa Mahsid. I actually don't understand Arabic, i would have stated those three names in Arabic.

6. It is recorded in the Qoran that Jesus died and rose on the third day. This is one of the numerous proofs of the fact that Jesus is superior to Mohammed and yet they do not follow Jesus but Mohammed. How can you believe someone is superior to another and still follow the inferior?

7. In the Qoran, we see the influence of the bible. Muslims claim the Qoran was sent (as it is) from heaven; bible was compiled during one of the earliest Bishops Conferences. So, Qoran was sent from heaven and Bible was compiled by Bishops but still, we see the influence of Bible in the Qoran.

8. Christianity preaches peace than Islam does. You doubt this dear Muslims? Okay, i would like to sight an example thus: Islam preaches a man could marry four wives but Christianity says a man should marry one. A house where there are four wives will surely be chaotic way far than a house where there is just one wife. Another example is the fact that Muslims are responsible for over 65% acts of terrorism in the world.

9. Christians and some tolerant Muslims know the Old testament quite well. There are lots of verses that say "kill" in the OT but Jesus came and made reformations which we all see in the New testament. Islam did not exist untill about 600 years after the death of Jesus; so i believe no ''true religion'' that emerge after the death of Jesus should have a book which says "kill".

10. Some years ago, Pope Francis did something which still shock a lot of people. He invited an Imam to a prayer meeting to pray at the St. Peter's basilica in the Vertican. No Caliph did the same! No Imam or Sheikh or whatever has done this ever! This is a sign of formidable tolerance. The same Pope made the revelation that Islam does not preach terrorism. This a sign that Christianity preaches tolerance than Islam.

11. Lastly, i don't have a personal problem with Islam. I believe both and Christianity are acceptable by God. But its as if the love of God for Christians is automatic—though temptation, tribulations may be experienced—and that for Muslims is not. If a Muslim pray to God ten times and a Christian do two times, God will answer the Christian first.

THE ORIGIN OF YORUBA PEOPLE (INHABITANTS OF SOUTHWESTERN NIGERIA)

The Yoruba people are the inhabitants of the Southwestern geo-political zone of Nigeria.
