THE NIGERIAN COMMONERS CAN MAKE THINGS RIGHT

I remember when i got home during a vacation months ago, i didn't like the condition of the compound so i started complaining—almost ranting like a toddler displaying tantrum. I continued complaining for days until my mum asked: what have you done to improve the condition of the compound since the last two days? Why can't you  yourself get some things done? Immediately a "lag" came into me and when it was time to sleep at night i couldn't do so on time—i was reflecting on those two questions i was asked. Next morning i started doing a lot to get things back to the conditions they were. Those two questions are apllicable to all the commoners in Nigeria. You all complain about the situation of the country but what are the actions you are taking to make things right? Government alone can't make Nigeria a better place; in fact, the commoners can do better because they're better preponderantly. You as a commoner can start doing somethings to make things righ...
DEBATE: ELEVEN REASONS WHY MUSLIMS SHOULD BECOME CHRISTIANS I am not a preacher nor a religion fanatic and i don't have a personal problem with Islam but i have studied Christians, Muslims, Christianity and Islam satisfactorily so i decided to come up with this piece. Read carefully without bias and make comments if you want to. 1. It is certain that Jesus is higher in the hierarchy of the prophets (Muslims don't believe he is the son of God so lets refer to him as prophet in that context) than Mohammed (SAW) 2. Countries like Turkey and Saudi which are dominated by Muslims rejected the refugees (Which are Muslims too) from Syria and Iraq but countries like Germany and The UK (Which are dominated by Christians) did not hesitate to receive them all. 3. If you read the entire Qoran over and over again, you will find the name of Mohammed (SAW) in 4 places and the name of Jesus (Isa Mahsid) in 25 places. Why such preference? 4. In the Qoran, you won't find the name...

THEY GOT THEM KILLED BECAUSE OF BLASPHEMY AGAINST MOHAMMED

THEY GOT THEM KILLED BECAUSE OF BLASPHEMY AGAINST MOHAMMED Blasphemy, as they claimed those people committed, is it not forgivable? Many of them (Muslims) have claimed they follow Isa Mahsid (Jesus Christ) than we Christians; if they really do, definitely they should know about Mathew Chapter 12:31-32 which states thus: wherefore I say unto you, all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men. Still, the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. If blasphemy against Jesus Christ can be forgiven, blasphemy against Mohammed can be forgiven because it can be inferred clearly from the Quran that Jesus is higher in the hierarchy [of the prophets] than Mohammed (SAW). I see those killing because of blasphemy against Mohammed (SAW) as an ignora...
MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE FOR ALL The major reason why the world is in peril and disarray today is because a lot of we humans have embarked on many negative activities - activities that are not vital to our fellow human, the ones that impart the lives of other people negatively.  A lot of people have been prescribing solutions to the problems of the world today but i can assure you 90% of these people themselves are doing many things that are not beneficial to others.  One of the ways we can make the world a vital place for all humans is to be Godly in all we do. Our religious institutions - especially Christianity and Islam - have a lot to do. The religious leaders of these institutions must lead by examples; guide their followers only in God's way; proffer changes to the social structure of every society and be honest in all their activities. Our governments and leaders must be truly democratic; shun corruption; stop mal-administration; embark on an "all incl...

YOUR RELIGION According to the Wordweb English dictionary and thesaurus, religion is an institution used to express belief in a divine power. Connotatively, religion is the belief in God/gods, and the various activities that are connected with them. Religion-wise, taking a look at the world today, there are two widely accepted religion—Islam and Christianity. According to historians, it is believed that Christianity was founded by Jesus Christ. That does not mean the truthful prophets—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Hezekiah, Isaiah—are not Christians. To be sincere, Christianity has been in existence since "times immemorial". True Christians are identified by their conducts: they do not dress indescently, they are kind, honest, dependent, they are loyal to God. Islam on the other hand is believed to have been founded by Muhammad (S.A.W) the great prophet. He (Muhammad) grew up in Arabia—Macca precisely. According to history, Muhammad was a good man even when he was on...
